Coming to New Mexico: Woman Walks Ahead

EXCLUSIVE: A feature film titled “Woman Walks Ahead” will film in New Mexico this September. The movie is based on the true story of Brooklyn artist Catherine Weldon, who moved to Standing Rock Reservation in the Dakota Territory to help legendary Native American leader Sioux chieftain Sitting Bull work with the government to retain the land of his people in 1889.

CASTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS

A preliminary casting call has gone out for two main character photo doubles, riding doubles and stand ins as follows:

Jessica Chastain

Michael Greyeyes

Height: 6’2”
Chest: 44
Waist: 38
Inseam: 33
Neck: 16

Casting will also be looking for 1880s era looking Native Americans, Cowboys, Cowgirls, Calvary, and Town Folk with horse Riding Experience.
