Spike TV Series Casting in Santa Fe
A new limited series for the Spike TV network is headed to New Mexico. Waco will be directed by John Erick Dowdle, who spent over three years with his brother, Drew researching and scripting the series. The story is based on two biographies, A Place Called Waco, by Branch Davidian David Thibodeau, and Stalling for Time: My Life as an FBI Hostage Negotiator, by FBI Agent Noesner.
Sande Alessi Casting (Pirates of the Caribbean, Kong: Skull Island, Horse Soldiers) is holding an open casting call this Sunday, April 9 in Santa Fe at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design – Garson Studios, from 12pm to 4pm.
The production is casting for all types including Waco compound families (women, men, and children), ATF Agents, Police, Paramedics and many many more roles. Anyone with real tactical experience and training are strongly encouraged to attend. This series is set in the early 90s – a lot of longer and “shaggy” hairstyles will be needed.

Shooting begins on April 17th and will continue through June 29. A core group of featured background will cast and will be required to keep their “look” throughout and commit to filming dates.
Information and photos will be taken on site, but those who are able are asked to bring a 3×4 color photo of themselves to be included in their file.
