Netflix content budget is reported to grow to $8 Billion in 2018

The New Mexico made network mini-series Waco will be released in January on the new Paramount Network, formerly known as Spike TV – rebranded.

The series is the retelling of the 1993 FBI and ATF siege on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas.

Santa Fe Film Festival December 15, 2017 Deadline. Festival runs February 7 – 11, 2018

Las Cruces International Film Festival extended submission deadline is November 25, 2017. Festival runs March 7 – 11, 2018.

Roswell Film Festival submission deadline is November 15, 2017. Film Festival runs April 25-29, 2018.

The 4th annual Pueblo Film Fest – the only film festival in the country devoted to the work of Pueblo filmmakers and actors, as well as to films that explore the Pueblo experience is coming up November 17 – 19.

1.) 2 Firemen needed for paid background on a short film. Non-SAG.
Email with a headshot, full body, height, weight, ethnicity, cell number, and town you live. Filming in and around Albuquerque. Must have their own wardrobe. Filming November the 16th.

2.) Feature Film “Desert” is looking for a handful of body doubles to work this Saturday on an upcoming major motion picture – DOUBLING FOR FAMOUS FRENCH ACTORS. Filming will be in Arizona, about 3 hours outside of Albuquerque. Production will be paying for Gas, Lodging, Per diem, and $350 for the actual day of work. Nude Body Doubles needed for the following roles:

– Brunette Female, Early 30’s, 5’8 – 5’10, thin build, 34C or smaller bra size.
– Brunette Caucasian Male, Early 30’s, 5’7 – 5’9, thin to average build, body hair is a plus.
– Dark Blonde Caucasian Male, Early 30’s, 5’11-6’1, very slender, body hair is a plus.

3.) Photo campaign for web. Ages 25-35 male and females with the following vehicles. All races, open ethnicity, all genders, tattoos, piercings are all ok. Motorcycle riders, dirt bike riders (street legal and racing), low rider owners (particularly pickup truck low riders), hoppers, muscle car owners, ATV riders, some stunt riders (wheelies, standing on bike) majority needed will be just riders. We need 50 people total. Not everyone will work all days. Most people will work only 1 day. No experience in acting needed. Do not need to be union or have an agent.
