Season 2 of AMC‘s original TV series Breaking Bad is slated to premiere January-ish. The production, filmed in New Mexico, tapped Albuquerque metro locations such as Eldorado High School and Bear Canyon Arroyo.
TV Guide reports that production on CW’s ‘Easy Money‘ was halted in October, originally scheduled to shoot in NM through early December. Let the network know if you want the show back – CW. Support the show, bring those jobs back to NM.

There was a time that the biggest advertisers in the world were McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, in those days we could depend on our annual visit from the jolly, ol’ Coca-Cola Santa – he’s the BEST! I can’t go a half-hour without seeing a high production, flashy, screeching, or obnoxious car commercial – but this year there’s no Santa.
I haven’t heard of Coca-Cola hitting-up Capital Hill for a “bailout“, so if we have to be robbed of Santa in the name of not paying for cola-golden parachutes, then so be it. Here he is for old times sake…ho, ho, ho.

We’ve all known, do know or will know a charming guy. Most apt to seek out and be wounded by a charming guy are those of us fathered by one. Their prowess in “charm” has likely been honed over many years and many women. Sure they know the coolest places to go and can be fun at parties – but believe me, charm a solid partner does not make. So remember the next time a “charmer” sidles up to you at Yanni’s you’re better off running across the street to Astro-Zombies to find yourself a good man.
Lesson Learned – Charming means, “I’m cheating on you.”
‘Outrageous Fortune‘ starring Bette Miller, Shelly Long, Peter Coyote and featuring the late great George Carlin filmed in several locations all around the state. It’s worth watching for camp, nostalgia, and funny – the old Abq. airport is a major backdrop for a chase – that’s a head trip all on its own.

United for Peace & Justice is circulating an online petition to free the Iraqi Journalist who threw shoes at president Bush in protest of his war policies. According to Democracy Now the shoe tosser remains imprisoned, reportedly battered and beaten.
Below is video of the protest and Bush’s reaction – note at 2:00 min. Bush virtually dismisses the protest saying, “It’s a sign of a free society…”

Tis the season…from Christmas, to New Year’s Eve straight through to Valentine’s Day she may be anxiously awaiting “The Ring”. Those are the top three dates when she will be anticipating the possibility of “The Ring”. You are also treading the waters of expectation around your anniversary and her birthday – No matter if she says she’s not that kind of girl, she swears she doesn’t need it or want it, EVEN if you’ve agreed on not going in that direction anytime soon – I personally guarantee from approx. 3 months into the relationship on – it crosses at least a teeny-tiny portion of her mind now and then AND “The Ring” industry knows this.
