ABQ Radio: Good Times & Temporary Goodbyes
As we’ve been pained to report to you in the past, the radio game is just the same as any other – full of high times, hard times and goodbyes.
The seasons of change hit our favorite crews with moves and moving-ons on the regular. We’re always happiest to publish where our faves move-up and on, always at the ready to enlighten and entertain us.
You’ve followed along with us and rally around the old and the new, you write to us often asking what ever happened to…and when will so-and-so be back and where? (Carmelina, girl they look for you everyday)
Well, we’ll keep-up with as many of your beloved radio personalities and other local celebrities, because in case you couldn’t tell…we love them too.
Here’s a sweet sentiment from our friend “Rico” Chico Suave who’s recently left his gig on 93.3 KOB FM.
“It will never be forgotten where I started, there are so many people who gave me that chance. Out of nowhere I showed who I was and it helped me reach higher ground. There are no words to describe how grateful I am to have been a part of something that I’ve dreamed about every day in my youth. The show goes on and I will not let myself give up on what my heart has fallen in love with. There is no hate or negative feelings for the way things are blooming, instead I am thankful to God for giving me strength and understanding that this is not the end. I will repay those who lifted me with great respect and show them that they helped make a great man. Fight the good fight, live the good life. I’m not going to say goodbye instead I say to you amigos, adios for now!” – Chico
