LAS VEGAS/AP — Carlos Condit earned the interim welterweight title and a match with champion Georges St. Pierre with a unanimous decision victory over Nick Diaz at UFC 143 Saturday night.
“It will be an honor to fight St. Pierre,” Condit said. “Georges is a guy I’ve looked up to since I was a kid, before the UFC.”
