  • In case you happened to wonder (not) about the use of Ваня in the graphic, the translation is Vanya, which is a male diminutive of the Russian, Bulgarian and other Slavic given name Ivan, meaning “God is gracious”. It is the Russian, Bulgarian and other Slavic form of John. Sometimes spelled Vanja and also used as a female given name in Scandinavia and Bulgaria.

    • I was wondering about that. Thank you!
