Foxy to the World: WE WERE ON A BREAK!

Posted by on July 2, 2011 | Comments Off on Foxy to the World: WE WERE ON A BREAK!

Looks like one plus to having your relationship status being made public (or doing it yourself if you need that much attention) is the benefit of documentation…

While the third installment of Transformers is off to conquering the known universe the hot goss. is that franchise star Shia LaBeouf strongly hinted if not full on admitted to getting-it-on with then co-star Megan Fox, who is now a married woman as hitched to her long-time boyfriend Brian Austin Green…

Kind of Megan who like New Mexico is not featured in this installment of the series to be helping out with the publicity for the flick…confirming through representatives that the original Transformers couple shared “a fling”…adding that it was during the time of the much publicized Green/Fox family temporary break-up.

In more *NYDB news…rumors are swirling, as always around the prospect of a baby bump making a debut in the near future at the midsection of the now officially DIVORCED Avengers star Scarlett Johansson.

No one knows the truth about either of these two rumors (as it should be) but those involved – what we do know is that Megan rocks our socks, if & when Scar Jo procreates she’ll be an awesome mom and yes this post title is yet another Friends reference…

NO, I do not just watch Friends on a continuous loop…we have Netflix now…I am currently watching “Cheers”! Cheers!

(*none o’ yo damn business)

I had to look long and hard (pi) to find a pic that didn’t look like a Vivid cover shot (I almost had to resort to a pic of her hobbit-like thumb, because she just can’t get away with looking like that all over!), to accompany this very serious post to declare that try I as I might to resist her I have fallen for the Fox. I now stand with Mickey?!?

Rather than spending her time trying to come-up with a deliciously stoopid sex tape name, rehab stint, lesbian faux-mance etc., etc., Megan Fox remains a steadfast star.

From a graceful exit from x-formers, to the best APS applicable PSA I’ve ever seen to her charitable donations left and right, I must now take stock in those whose opinions I value in the anyway and join ’em in their love of the Fox.

This story of how the young actress recently donated her pay from a video shoot to a domestic violence shelter won’t get one one-millionth of the play racist, misogynistic, tyrannical rage or Ambien laced whore-mongering garners these days, but I hope you’ll spread the word and awareness about getting out, standing-up and stopping the violence til it’s as prevalent as the the oh-so steamy pics of the little miss turned Mrs. above.

Come back soon…NM misses you esp. Mugs & BSM!

Megan Fox

As we reported here in January Oscar winner Mickey Rourke is scheduled to film Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Broken Horses here in New Mexico for release in 2010.

Now our own Commerce Secretary of Hearts has announced that Rourke will too head the NM production Passion Play also due out in the banner NM Film year 2010.

Passion Play will surely raise some blood pressure this Winter as it’s been confirmed that Jennifer’s Body vamp Megan Fox will co-star. Shooting is scheduled for October – December in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

APS Proposes 183 Teachers Git’ the Axe

Posted by on May 11, 2011 | Comments Off on APS Proposes 183 Teachers Git’ the Axe

While arts & entertainment industries work and reach out to help and inspire the youth in our community “Harry” Winston Brooks and his sheep fumble, stumble and corrode the hopes of our children by continuing to violently ream out the finances of our educational system.

Here’s New Mexico movie veteran Megan Fox artfully illustrating our looming fate as originally posted April 7, 2010.

Megan’s latest New Mexico movie is due out within the next few months and the fleecing of our educational economy has been nefariously re-contracted through 2014!!!

New Hollywood and Old Hollywood Share Megan Fox & Education Economy Woes:

Albuquerque School District budget cuts are being volleyed-about right now, meanwhile Hollywood West churns out a plea on their own state’s educational budget woes with passionate player Megan Fox in this Funny or Die PSA.

Say Say Say Passion Play & Fright Night Style

Posted by on April 18, 2011 | Comments Off on Say Say Say Passion Play & Fright Night Style

While Fright Night holds tight to its official trailer the Wholly New Mexico film that’s destined for a limited release before hitting the DVD bin and Netflix circuit makes a great showing in this theatrical trailer!

Wily willed co-star Mickey Rourke made headlines last week yo-yoing between trashing the flick and reneging to reining-in powerful statements made about his leading lady, the lovely Megan Fox.

Last week Rourke told peeps at a Hollywoo party that PP is just a “terrible, terrible movie” and then later dropped the cool waters of ‘you ain’t all that’ on his previous statements about Fox being one of the most talented actresses of all time, by reemphasizing, “that I’ve worked with” then allegedly adding the patented Mickey Rourke f-you smirk that keeps us all coming back for more no matter what revision of his face we’re confronted with.

Here’s Mick’s rebuttal to the mag that printed his less than stellar review of Passion Play:

“Hey, guys. When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a shitty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter. Mitch (the director of the movie) is one of my best friends since we were kids. I loved working with him and would do it again tomorrow. I don’t know why I said that stupid shit. I love Mitch, I love Megan. My bad.”

Congrats to all our talented locals that worked on this epic saga!

And whilst we wait to see the official Fright Night trailer here’s what the star of that flick said in front of a crowed screening the film to stick his foot in his gorgeous mouth over his latest Wholly New Mexico Movie:

“Meself, as a fan of the original, it doesn’t change. I don’t think I’ll have a copy of this version in my library, but I have the original at home…” – Colin Farrell

Later explaining to EW “What I meant was [I wouldn’t own it] because I’m in the f-ing thing!” He said he cringes when he watches himself. “It’s always uncomfortable.”

Stir that pot boys! Keep ’em talking, get ’em watching! Go New Mexico Film! And now if you need a warm fuzzy, mosey on over to the eloquence of sexy Olivia Wilde’s love letter to NM here.

UPDATE 3/12/11: Now Perez says Passion will see limited big screen action on May 6 prior to the DVD/Blu-ray roll-out!

A fave amongst locals who’ve worked on her New Mexico flicks, Megan Fox’s latest film may only see silver screens of Toronto where it debuted last fall.

According to the news, and by news I mean Perez Hilton and Michael K. the Jennifer’s Body starlet’s latest film will be going direct to DVD.

Mr. Megan Fox and foxy Mena Suvari star in the upcoming sci-fi, horror Last Stop, filmed in Ruidoso NM. The film is scheduled to be released later this year – no word on if it will be cinematical or DVD direct.

Already minted to DVD and Blueray is the incredible Hammer Films NM Horror/Thriller Let Me In. This chilly horror stars NM’s Own (adopted) scary little lady Chloe Moretz – who I maintain is a FORCE to be reckoned with – I’m talking to you ACADEMY.

Moretz is scheduled to be back for her third NM film, Hick at the end of the month!

As of today she’s in a dead (pun) heat with Oscar contender Hailee Steinfeld in our own Golden Tumbleweed race for NM’s favorite leading lady of the past year…

Posted by on September 8, 2010 | Comments Off on NM Film Yesterday Today y Mañana

Yesterday – It’s been many, many yesterdays since we’ve been telling you that Robert Pattinson would soon hit Nuevo México and it looks like he’s been tippy-toeing around. The face that regularly launches tweens and house fraus alike into a manic frenzy was spotted in the City Different (Santa Fe) over the weekend. He and his co-stars in the forthcoming Unbound Captives are likely prize candidates for ushering in the new dawn of Paparazzi scouting going on in NM…

Today – It is official that the eagerly awaited Passion Play starring Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox, Rhys Ifans, Bill Murray, Kelly Lynch will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this month (Sept. 9-19).

Mañana – It is being reported that Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage will star in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming Bollywood gangster movie Broken Horses coming soon to New Mexico. As we have previously published Mickey Rourke is also slated to star.

Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde and Sam Rockwell also appeared. The NM shoot is getting lots o’buzz as Favreau says C&A will be back for Comic Con 2011 just before the release of the much anticipated film – which, as was just disclosed will be in 2 Dimensions…Favs said, “f*ck it” after early digital test shoots.

Just a few weeks into filming the Cowboys ensemble did not disappoint – even bringing a preview reel of the movie that brought the crowd to its feet.

New Mexico is becoming quite a couples paradise or at least haven as big films and their super stars come to work in the Land of Enchantment their lovers come out to visit.

Some endings are happier than others, but we’re happy to play host and haven to celebrity folk amor!

When Channing Tatum was here in the Spring filming Haywire (formerly titled Knockout) with Steven Soderbergh his lovely wife (Megan Fox isn’t the ONLY game in town, this one and tinsel) Jenna Dewan took to the Indian Market and to Twitter giving an early review of the film(ing) saying:

“Watching Steven Soderbergh on set is beyond…a real genius of his craft. and nice and humble. love it.”

Haywire also stars Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas and Gina Carano, and is due out in early 2011.

Update: McCormack gives back – and the bulk of the IPS cast & crew have come out in support of their host state. Nichole Hiltz? Eh…this clip of her still really chaps my hide, you?

The above videos have recently been circulating of In Plain Sight ~stars Mary McCormack and Nichole Hiltz bashing the town that feeds ’em.

©Sindication is launching a campaign to urge USA Network and the reps for both Hiltz and McCormack to do something positive for the community in which they’ve been lucky enough to be working.

In stark contrast, AMC’s Emmy winning series Breaking Bad gives back to NM all the while they are here: fundraising, featuring local wares and literally giving their life’s blood for their work.

Starz series Crash works feeding & clothing the homeless.

Megan Fox and Shai Lebeouf even look out for our area animal friends. (So, bite it Chelsea)

Join our Facebook group to speak out for your town.

UPDATE: Mac has taken to her twit account to ask her new friends at the Peak to play this two year old clip of her talking to a local t.v. station sans trash talk.

We say actions speak louder than old words and we’re asking Mac & Co. to donate to JTD’s upcoming Radiothon benefitting UNM Children’s Hospital and furthermore put some time in with The Storehouse ABQ.

NM Film Yesterday, Today & Mañana

Posted by on October 12, 2009 | One comment

Yesterday – Available on DVD, from the Apatow juggernaut Year One is an unsung (adult) comedy with surprisingly sweeping NM scenes including the hilarity of McLovin & Chief Wiggum/Apu at Tent Rocks, Juggernaut as a Roman in White Sands, Tobias at the Rio Grand and so much more.

Today – Megan Fox is currently in and around NM towns shooting the upcoming thriller Passion Play with fellow animal lover Rourke.

Getting through a scare with her own pooch last week the animalistic actress missed an appearance but donated her dough to a local, non-profit, wild-life rescue zoo.

Did You Hear About the Morgans?

Mañana – Coming to theaters December 18, Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant talked to Access Hollywood from the NM set of Did You Hear About the Morgans?

Robert Pattinson
For Hesh

As Megan Fox does her part(s) to get young Hollywood, NM blood pumping the Twilightiac nation may make your blood run cold. Team Pattinson is sure to lose their collective mind when the world’s most brooding vampire swoops into New Mexico.

Back in May we reported that the magnificent Madeline Stowe will direct Wolverine in The Unbound Captives. It has since been confirmed that the most money making blood-sucker of all time will star as Jackman’s son in the film.

Stowe also wrote the screenplay for the movie which is slated to begin production in NM by the end of the year, set for release…all together now…in 2010.
