Toni Collette did not take home a statue this year but was awarded the Emmy last year for lead actress in a drama series for the United States of Tara (Edie Falco got the award this year for Nurse Jackie). Collette is currently in town filming Fright Night.
Resident designer, part time director and “rancher” Tom Ford dressed the event’s host, Jimmy Fallon among other nominees, winners and presenters.
Temporary New Mexican Joan Allen, was up for lead actress in her NM film Georgia O’Keeffe which was nominated for Best TV Movie, Art Direction, Best Casting, Best Directing, Best Hairstyling, Best Makeup, Best Music Composition and Best Costumes. – HELLO!

The reigning King and Queen of New Mexico Steven Michael and Cherise Quezada hit the red carpet in L.A. today with their eldest daughter (who’s easily giving those young stars a run for their money), direct from Homiewood to Hollywood as part of the incredibles a.k.a. the cast & crew of AMC’s original series Breaking Bad.
As we’ve ~reported here before the world renowned series is up for 7 awards tonight including best drama series and best lead actor for Bryan Cranston (his third nom, w/two previous wins!!!).
Native New Mexican’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Neil Patrick Harris (above) also in da’ house! Tune in to E! for pre-show interviews and NBC for the live awards show hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

And as star Steven Michael Quezada recently touched on with Erica Viking on Coyote 102.5, during his YDI benefit interview, AMC Television’s Breaking Bad is slated to pick-up production on its 4th NM season soooooon…..
Another dogooding, talented slab of gorgeousness, a.k.a. NM’s Own Actor/Comedian/Writer/Producer/Director extraordinaire, Steven Michael Quezada is hosting a budding actors’ showcase on August 1 at Albuquerque’s historic Wool Warehouse.
Trouble, the multimedia performance will combine film and theater created by the talented young people of Youth Development Inc.

Steven Michael Quezada is adding another act of service to his resume by boosting New Mexico’s own film, stage and crew talent pool. Through his partnership with YDI Quezada is lending his talent and experience to a workshop for NM youth.

The hype for the historic, global release of the highly anticipated Rakesh Roshan film Kites is gaining momentum with the leak of the English/American trailer.
The film starring Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan, shot in New Mexico in 2008 and features local actors Dave Colon and Steven Michael Quezada.
Late last year X-Men director Brett Ratner was tapped to master the english version of the completed film which will be released in both English and Hindi later this year.
