When East meets the Southern Hemosphere you’ve made a right turn at Albuquerque.

It’s Bollywood not Hollywood which is the most prolific film industry in the world. And in this clash of quietly building titans both share the touchstone that is uniquely New Mexico Film.

From the reigning number one at the U.S. box office to the up and coming global release of Bollywood’s most beloved’s new film, New Mexico dips a toe in the pool of film history and greatness.

In the curious case of the simplest superstar who’s swept American film, Sam Worthington made his first, biggest U.S. splash in the NM film, Terminator Salvation. Where director McG is quoted as saying, “He’s a no bull**** kind of guy…we had to keep him from getting in bar fights in New Mexico. He’s that kind of guy.”

And as we’ve diligently been ~reporting to you, the upcoming global release of Bollywood’s Kites is sure to rock the film world from its NM platform. Back in ’08 the film’s star, Hrithik Roshan stirred-up all kinds of fanfare while here shooting.

Kites is scheduled for worldwide release on May 21, in which the mega movie star Roshan makes his musical debut. Worthington has at least three more films on his imminent horizon.

And New Mexico is at the ready to take flight from its repose as the next, best player in the game – there’s no business like it, that business we call…show.
