While middle-of-the-road in sleepiness, drunkeness, fitness & fatness, New Mexico is tops in least amount of personal tax burden, clean energy, national security, agriculture, adventure destination and ironically gay friendliness in the state capital where our unfriendly leader resides.
More tragic than that NM ranks low to DEAD LAST in job creation, gun violence, safety, education, poverty/hunger and child welfare.

While arts & entertainment industries work and reach out to help and inspire the youth in our community “Harry” Winston Brooks and his sheep fumble, stumble and corrode the hopes of our children by continuing to violently ream out the finances of our educational system.
Here’s New Mexico movie veteran Megan Fox artfully illustrating our looming fate as originally posted April 7, 2010.
Megan’s latest New Mexico movie is due out within the next few months and the fleecing of our educational economy has been nefariously re-contracted through 2014!!!
New Hollywood and Old Hollywood Share Megan Fox & Education Economy Woes:
Albuquerque School District budget cuts are being volleyed-about right now, meanwhile Hollywood West churns out a plea on their own state’s educational budget woes with passionate player Megan Fox in this Funny or Die PSA.

New Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry ain’t messin’ around. From disbursing night time crime fighters onto the streets to shinning the bright light of day on underground criminals Duke is on the job!
So much in fact that our local crime stoppers is running short on funds. In his efficient, effective and appropriate use of media and publicity Berry has so far been reaching into the community to clean out the bottom of the barrel with the help of its citizens.
So whether it’s your Abulita making the calls, reformed rule breakers or just plain tattlers it’s the tips from the community that will help the Duke continue to make a difference in metro crime.
Call 843-STOP to report a crime or tips to solve existing cases.
And please DONATE to Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers.

Plagued pugilist, Johnny Tapia was sent back to the clink yesterday after committing an alleged parole infraction by traveling within the state, but out of the city to aid in the search and raise awareness about his missing relative without notifying his parole officer.
Tapia will remain in jail until at least July 30 and faces additional “habitual offender” charges that could result in a one year sentence. Tapia’s 29-year-old cousin Aurthur Chavez remains missing.
Yesterday Magistrate Court Judge Delilah Montano-Baca released a ~man arrested by authorities last week, who is charged with 42 (FORTY-TWO IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII II) counts of the child rape of his own granddaughters.
The judge released the suspect without bond or conditions. KRQE reports that the Sandoval County District Attorney is asking Judge Baca to reconsider her decision.
NM is infamous for our many high profile, and perpetually offending Drunk Drivers. Above left is a cautionary posting spelling out the ‘penalties’ for each DWI offense through SEVEN found at most local alcohol licensed establishments.
On the right, a set photo of none other than the fictitious California Highway Patrolman, Eric Estarada in one of the latest high dollar spots in NMDOT’s campaign against drunk driving. Other than Punchy‘s lame, fetal position landing on the offenders vehicle the commercial is pretty good. The high point is the ‘Jorge’ award (NM Oscar) worthy performance by the driver – boy is talented, he goes from choad to Sponge Bob SquarePants in 0-6. I could watch his girly-man squeal all day – lurve it! Click here to see for yo’self.
On the other hand it would be far more effective to see offenders actually be punished instead of hearing 8 and 12 time offenses making the news on a regular basis.
We’ve been getting these calls for almost a year now and knew of their fraudulence immediately ’cause we don’t have a car!
But for those of you who may have had a little more trouble deciphering these calls for the scam that they are until now Kasa Fox 2 provides us the links to the National Do Not Call List for some relief from this harassment. If you’re still stalked after you’ve been registered on that list for over 31 days report the bloodsuckers numbers and co. names to the FTC online here.

Commerce Secretary of Hearts, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, is in Rome today to be celebrated by Emperor Palpatine Pope Benedict XVI for making his state the fifteenth in America to abolish the death penalty.
Meanwhile much of the world is still roused by the heroic rescue of U.S. Captain Richard Phillips via the lethal, triple Navy Seal sniper fire unleashed upon his pirate captors.
In FLA. prosecuting attorneys announce they will seek the death penalty against the mother of 3 year old Caylee Anthony for her murder, a CA. woman is under arrest for the murder of 8 year old Sandra Cantu.
The lists and meager penalties of crimes against children continues to grow and grow.
2008 was a banner year for bank robberies in New Mexico. Of course the mess of the economy is credited for much of this uprising – but with Entertainment and Technology jobs coming to the area perhaps thieving can take a breather. Esp. since it’s a federal crime with steep penalties and so few robbers escape prosecution.
While the problem persists into 2009 perhaps the general public can boost their income by collecting the rewards sometimes offered for anonymous tips leading to prosecution by the FBI and/or Crime Stoppers. In-between job searches, casting calls or on your lunch break you can check the latest on who you can turn in or where you’ll be featured if you indulge here or here.

Some crime prevention organizations have held local events giving cash or gift certificates in exchange for guns – no questions asked.
It is somewhat difficult to find such programs NOW in progress. The above video and following links are from previous weapons exchanges. YOU can contact your local Crime Stoppers to inquire about starting a program in your area.
The combo of rampant illegal firearms and the very poor economy can only up the incidents of gun violence – already OOC, out-of-control. The NRA has nothing to fear – It’s the illegals (guns/not peeps) that are most used in violent crimes. Let’s get ‘em turned in. Hell, call your local police dept. or crime stoppers and ask straight-up, “What’s the exchange rate on guns today?” Abq., NM Police Dept. offers cash for crime TIPS….
