On March 6, 2014, one feature film will debut in one hundred cinemas across the United States in the 2nd Annual Feature Film Project. Audiences at each venue will be asked the question.
Should this film return to this cinema for a theatrical release in 2014?
If the majority vote “yes” then that film will return to that cinema for a series of screenings that year.
The Feature Film Project is a venture presented by the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival tailor made for flmmakers, producers, production companies and sales agents who would like to screen and market their feature film through an already established cinema network across the USA.
Over 100,000 film-lovers attend MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival in over 300 cinemas across six continents annually during one week each year. MANHATTAN SHORT is more than just one of the largest short film festivals in the world today, it is the the world’s first global film festival. Out of the 300 Cinemas that partner with the Festival over 50% of them are in the United States. MANHATTAN SHORT has a direct mailing list of over 70,000 film lovers,in the USA alone with all of them in close proximity to each participating cinema in the Feature Film Project, who are all ready and waiting to judge your film on March 6, 2014

The selected Feature Film will be marketed through the same channels as MANHATTAN SHORT.
Financials – The Box Office of the films’ theatrical releases throughout 2014 will be the following. Cinemas shall retain 50%, Filmmaker/Producers receive 25%, MANHATTAN SHORT will receive 25%.
MANHATTAN SHORT will cover the costs of Posters & Shipping.
Filmmakers/Producers shall retain 100% of all digital downloads, VOD, DVD and cable TV rights. The Project is about getting a film into cinemas and letting the public discover it.

The die has been cast, and the call has been issued as of now. Independent filmmakers are hereby invited to put their think on producing their best possible work around a TBA themed Santa Fe show pilot.
Submissions will be accepted beginning October 31, 2013. 60 – 90 second entries will first compete for a viewers choice prize of $500, which will be awarded next month. In December a grand prize winner will be selected and given a $25,000 production package to create the full show pilot in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Auditions are always the hardest part of the acting process, and if you take this workshop you will learn everything you need to know! Being an extra is great experience, but this takes you to a different level. If you want to cross over from being an extra to becoming an actor, this is the workshop you MUST attend! Casting Director/Producer Sheryl Roberts who has been involved in the casting department of many films and television shows (see IMDB credits) and Actor Greg Serano, (Terminator Salvation, Wild Fire, Legally Blonde, and most recently The Mentalist) are teaching this workshop for professional and aspiring actors. In an exciting development, working professionals who are currently filming in New Mexico will appear as our special guests. This workshop is designed to teach you everything you need to know to be successful in our very special industry. This workshop is also for parents of young children trying to break in to the entertainment business. We will teach you how NOT to get ripped off. Please bring two headshots and a resume if you have them. If you don’t, bring 2 snap shots with contact information written on the back. On Saturday September 14th there will be a two hour lecture (bring a note book) followed by two hours of practical application. On Sunday September 15th, the day will be dedicated to “Extreme Coaching” with Sheryl and Greg, and a coaching/advisory session with Carolyn Wright well known headshot photographer (http://www.thephotostudio.com/) teaching you everything you need to know about getting the perfect headshot. At the end of the session Carolyn will give participants a certificate for your free headshot sitting fee. Carolyn will set up a shoot date with you and you will get your headshot complete with your name on it and retouched. With the certificate your complete headshot now only cost you $48.50. Anyone in the industry will tell you what a CRAZY deal this is, especially from such an accomplished photographer.

As we told you here, Bryan Cranston will be the guest on the 100th episode of “The After After Party.” – and now it’s official!
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – To celebrate the final season of “Breaking Bad,” The Emmy Award-winning star of the hit TV show “Breaking Bad,” will judge a Walter White look-alike contest at the taping of the historic 100th episode of “The After After Party” on Tuesday December, 4.
The 99th and 100th episodes of the locally produced late night variety show will be taped at 7 p.m., at the Wool Warehouse in downtown Albuquerque.
The show is hosted by Albuquerque actor and comedian, Steven Michael Quezada, who plays DEA agent Steve Gomez on “Breaking Bad.”
“Bryan came up with the idea, and we thought what a great way to celebrate our 100th show and ‘Breaking Bad,'” Quezada said. “You wouldn’t know it from Walter White, but Bryan has a great sense of humor.”
Quezada said contestants should show up at 5:30 pm at the Wool Warehouse. Staff will choose 10 contestants to appear on the show. The contestants will get “Breaking Bad” swag, while the winner will also get to have lunch on the set of “Breaking Bad.”
