While Sky 7 is undoubtedly a valuable asset to the Action 7 news team, as are reporter A.J. Smith and pilot Neal Lawson…Are daily fly-overs really necessary?
In their efforts to inform us of where our tax dollars and Barack-ortunity funds are being spent, this watch-dog in the sky segment plays out daily – whereby A.J. Smith is dispatched overhead to show you various holes in the ground, tops of buildings and strips of asphalt.
At an estimated 4 miles to the gallon and approximately 7 times the CO2 emissions of your standard vehicle is this coverage aligning with economic and environmental standards we should be striving for?
Applause for the watch-dogging, but thumbs down on daily flights for fancy aerials.
