Not since Deney Terrio threw on Joe Picopo’s Dead Heat mullet wig for pickups in the Flashdance finale was there this much hullabaloo over exactly whose’s bits are doing what during an on-screen dance saga.
The Ballerina who stood-in for Natalie Portman for the highly contested, yet to be determined percentage of her dance routines during Black Swan continues to level claims that accounts of Natalie’s dance abilities are greatly exaggerated. Portman’s choreographer/fiancee, director, and co-stars are coming to her defense. WTFC? CNN, really?
Hos and cinema are much more technologically savvy these days. There may very well be better worked, more hard fought battles during post-production that don’t scream at the audience, like the barely computer generated ~graphics work on Kate Bosworth, in the legendary Blue Crush, that they are only barely trying to play magic tricks on our eyes for the price of admission (plus the cost of 3D glasses in some cases).
However, such advances may also be one reason why a scorned woman’s wrath could too be on the rise in its reach and potency.
And whatever the hell is in the craw of this trick Sarah Lane it doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop until God knows what vindication is hers.
Me thinks a certain ballerina really needs to up her daily dosage of surely already high fiber and let classic dances lie (you too J-Lo, oops too late).

New Mexico is becoming quite a couples paradise or at least haven as big films and their super stars come to work in the Land of Enchantment their lovers come out to visit.

When Channing Tatum was here in the Spring filming Haywire (formerly titled Knockout) with Steven Soderbergh his lovely wife (Megan Fox isn’t the ONLY game in town, this one and tinsel) Jenna Dewan took to the Indian Market and to Twitter giving an early review of the film(ing) saying:
“Watching Steven Soderbergh on set is beyond…a real genius of his craft. and nice and humble. love it.”
Haywire also stars Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas and Gina Carano, and is due out in early 2011.
