Invigorated by his decision Glen begins a spirited adventure, reaching out to people from his past and encountering a variety of new faces. **ON LOCATION CASTING Needs your help!!! We have been asked to fill the stands with VOLUNTEER Extras for a scene in the Feature Film “Stars” that we are currently casting. If you can help us out by attending, we really appreciate it. If not, we totally understand and thanks for considering it!!***

New Mexico residents and those visiting us in New Mexico are invited to be in a feature film!

The film “Stars” is inviting anyone ages 3 and over (NO babies please!) to come out for a day of filming and fun. Mingle with your fellow OLC extras. Volunteer your time and hopefully see yourself on camera when the movie comes out.

Food (box lunches – sandwiches, chips, fruit, cookie) and snacks will be provided.

There will be raffles throughout the day for great prizes, entertainment and your chance to be in a movie.

Saturday – November 12th, 2011
7:30am to 3:30pm
–although we prefer that you show up at 7:30am, you will still be permitted to attend if you can only come a bit later than that!!

Please dress weather appropriate with warm clothing!!! Please try to avoid RED and all WHITE clothing as best you can. The scene is fans and spectators at a horseshoe competition.

Reel Experience: Background Casting

Blaze You Out is looking for men and women, 18 and over, to work as background actors for a club scene that will be shooting on September 15 at Buffalo Thunder Resort near Espanola.

If you are interested in being on a movie set as an extra please send a current color picture of yourself along with your height/weight/age/where you live/phone number to:

This is a non-paying job but there will be prizes (iTunes gift cards) raffled off during the evening. Lunch will be served as well as snacks.

Blaze You Out is a film that focuses on a young woman’s journey to locate her missing sister in the heart of a brutal underworld controlled by the heroin trade. The story takes place in the beautiful Esperanza Valley in Northern New Mexico, a basin which belies an underlying sickness, a sinister insidious spiritual downfall caused by decades of drug use; but the protagonist’s journey into this brutal battleground ultimately releases the lurking demons and restores hope.

The film stars Elizabeth Pena (La Bamba) and Q’orianka Kilcher (The New World)

Alamo in Pictures

UPdATE: Ummm, Shizamm! Here is Penn on the afore/latter (depending on what order you’re reading this) mentioned Dublin set of the soon to be headed to NM film, This Must be the Place. YOWZA! – via my beloved Michael K.

The Alamogordo Daily News has been cast in the upcoming Sean Penn flick set to film in So. Nem’s Tularosa Basin.

In addition to shooting in Ireland and one of our top our U.S. film location competitors MI, “This Must be the Place” has tapped the hometown paper to be featured in the film which is also currently seeking to cast paid extras for the NM shoot.

The movie co-stars Frances McDormand and Harry Dean Stanton, written by Umberto Contarello and Paolo Sorrentino who is also directing.

SyFy series Stargate Universe is NOW casting for extras in the Farmington New Mexico area.

According to Gate World Forum filming is scheduled from May 17-21 and “Those interested are asked to upload their headshots at www.egcasting.com.”

Rourke/Fox Passion Play NM

The PAID EXTRAS casting call has been released from Crew New Mexico for principal filming of the upcoming Fox/Rourke flick Passion Play.

Sought for featured roles are (but not limited to): “Freaks, white bread, disfigured, tiny, huge, Mexican, Tarahumara, Jewish, African American,
businessmen, strippers, carnies, Chinese, models, homeless, military, amputees”, on and on and on…including “ALL types, ALL ages of local Santa Fe/Albuquerque”

Stand-in positions also avail. for the three lead roles.
