Jane Got a Gun centers on the titular good girl married to a very bad man who turns against his outlaw gang and gets a back full of bullets for his trouble. With the outlaws still out for revenge, Jane is forced to turn to an old flame in order to bring justice to the deadly gunslingers. Natalie Portman (Black Swan) stars in the lead with Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) playing the ex-lover. Joel Edgerton (Warrior) is in negotiations to play the outlaw husband. Dozens of locals brave their bristles awaiting a call for The Lone Ranger, while Ed Harris and January Jones ready for their close-up in New Mexico.
The call for extras with substantial beards has been out for months. As the NM weather heats-up many Lone Ranger hopefuls have thrown in the towel and picked-up the razor. Those who remain at their grizzly best still have hope as the Extras Casting director for the shoot recently sent out word that TLR will resume filming in mid July through the end of August.

Filming in Louisiana is well under way on the young adult horror film adapted from Twilight author, Stephenie Meyer’s best selling novel of the same name, “The Host”.
As we’ve been following for you here, Saoirse Ronan stars as 20-year-old Melanie Stryder. Melanie lives in a not-too-distant future in which unseen parasite invaders are taking over people’s bodies, creating a bizarrely complacent group of people. Well, it’s not so bizarre to the ones who have been taken over, which is most of the population…except Melanie. When Melanie is captured and her body and mind invaded, she refuses to give in, retaining many of her human memories and fighting with the parasite for control.
Filming began last month in Louisiana and is/has been slated to shoot in NM before wrap, for release on March 29, 2013.
