Feature Film Roles for Hispanic Children in New Mexico

Elizabeth Gabel is currently casting Hispanic Children for the feature film, “Sicario”.

EG is looking for a 6 year old Hispanic boy and four Hispanic girls, ages 7-12.

These roles are featured extras for scenes being shot with Benicio del Toro on Friday June 27, 2014.

If your child or a child you know is interested and applicable, submit photos, the child’s NAME, date of birth, and the parent’s name and phone number to egabel[at]msn.com.

Sicario (action/drama) also stars Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin. The film is expected to shoot in Albuquerque through early September.

La Vida Robot movie casting in New Mexico

Lorie Lathem and Elizabeth Gabel will be holding a casting call this Saturday September 28, from 10 am to 2 pm at Far Horizon Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

CASTING CALL:

LA VIDA ROBOT, the Brookwell-McNamara feature film starring George Lopez and Jamie Lee Curtis, scheduled to begin filming in Albuquerque in mid October.

The film is based on the true story of undocumented Latino High School students who compete in a National Underwater Robotics competition.

WHO:

NOW CASTING THE FOLLOWING PROJECT in ALBUQUERQUE/SANTA FE, NM:

Project: New Mexico Tourism

Type: Regional COMMERCIAL. NON-Speaking Principal roles. NON-UNION.

Shoot dates: March 5-8th, 2012 (4 days)
– All 4 days will be full (12 hour) days – Travel between one location to the next is part of the storyline so you will travel with the production crew.
– Call Time: March 5th – Early morning in Albuquerque (Exact time TBD)
– Wrap: March 8th – Late afternoon/evening in Santa Fe (Exact time TBD)
**MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL FOUR SHOOT DATES!!!

Usage: All media, including but not limited to broadcast, internet, print, new media and industrial.

Terms: Date of first use until June 30, 2013

Territory: Southwestern states – US

Compensation: NON-UNION. $300.00/day plus expenses (meals and lodging). Travel provided by production. Possible buyout, rate TBD. (NO Agency commission)

Talent Specs:

FAMILY
REAL FAMILIES: Caucasian or light skinned Hispanics.
MOM & DAD – 35-40 years old, fit and attractive, brown or black hair. Mountain biking, hiking and climbing experience is a plus, but not necessary. Ability to swim is necessary (for safety). NO professional acting experience required!

KIDS – boy and girl, ages 8-14, fit and cute everyday kids, brown or black hair. Mountain biking, hiking and climbing experience is a plus, but not necessary. Ability to swim is necessary (for safety). NO professional acting experience required!

COUPLE
REAL COUPLES PREFERRED but NOT required: Caucasian or light skinned Hispanics.

African American, Native American, Latino & Asian Casting Call #ABQ #NM

UPDATE 2/23/2012: Sarah Dowling Casting will be holding additional auditions in Albuquerque tomorrow (Friday) through Sunday for Untitled Feature Film. The family film will shoot in New Mexico in Spring 2012.

At this time, we are looking for African and African American men, women, and children with athletic physiques. Any training in dance, sports or movement is a plus. We are primarily looking for men (ages 18-60), but still have a couple of slots open for women (18-40) and children (6-10).

8:30AM – 1:30PM and 4:30PM – 7:30PM

What:
Casting Principal (but non-speaking) roles

Specific Types:

Men (ages 18 – 60) – African, African American, Native American, or Latino

Women (ages 18 – 40)- African, African American, Native American or Latino

Children (ages 6– 10)- African, African American, Native American, or Latino

For the purposes of the story, casting is predominantly seeking people of African, African American, Native American, Latino or Asian descent especially of LEAN to MEDIUM MUSCULAR BUILDS who have been trained in athletics, dance, or who have had other movement training.

Women should have similar athletic builds but should still embody the softness/grace of a woman. Would like to see women who have also had movement training in any of the above.

Children should be soulful and comfortable in their bodies.

In addition:

For one role, are especially looking for long-jumpers or decathletes.

We are also looking for an African American mime.

Applicable candidates will be briefly interviewed by casting staff and may be asked to speak on camera.

Western Casting in Southern NM

Just in time for (post) spirit-week a “MAJOR MOTION PICTURE” will be holding an open casting call for extras in Silver City, NM later this month. The production will shoot in Silver City and Deming this October before moving to the Albuquerque area before the end of the year (scheduled).

WHEN:
