Things are about to get “ridiculous” and/or “shuffled” around here (I’m just guessing), with some very big productions headed New Mexico way. In anticipation of the demand for multitudes of local men who are fully bearded, EG Casting has put out the following alert:
“…It is that time again for all our male extras. There are several big projects coming for men with beards, so please start growing out those beards again and register at www.egcasting.com with updated or new profiles. There will be lots of work for those guys with beards. Can’t announce yet,” – Elizabeth Gabel
The crime drama stars Emily Blunt in the lead role, backed by Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin.
“Sicario” Blunt will play a police officer in the Southwest who crosses the border with a group of mercenaries to track down a dangerous drug lord (hint, not Walter White). The film is already getting a lot of early buzz due to Villeneauve’s attachment and for the gritty premise being heroine driven.
The production will be hiring Hispanic men, women and children, active and former military as well as beat-up old cars.
Tell ‘em “OHI” sent ya!
