Since wrapping things up here in The Land of ‘secluded’ Enchantment back in late July The Avengers have taken-up in Cleavland as scheduled.

Looks like HAWKEYE will be NYC bound post AVENGERS to take-up the reins of The Bourne Legacy from Matt Damon…the “whole new” action, suspense thriller is set to shoot in New York this September.
The Hurt Locker star is also gearing-up to produce, direct and star in the Rally Race film Slingshot, expected to shoot in New Mexico.

As the biggest production get of the outgoing NM State Film commission nay the biggest production get in the history of the state the Avengers have brought New Mexico global recognition, excitement, jobs and an influx in tourism!
Now CHECK-OUT the above poster for Marvel’s Avengers as on display at the International Licensing Expo in Las Vegas last week – all three Avengers who recently rocked out with Mötley Crüe in the Q are shown as they will appear in the movie and in the plethora of merchandising sure to follow…

Maybe like that very cute, but hyper pubescent boy from my 9th grade summer school remedial math class, Chris Evans thinks it’s adorbs bordering on irresistible to throw an almost nonsensical put down on every other thing…Or maybe like a Dixie Chick in London he wants to declare a full on public denouncement.
While on a quick jaunt to la la land from his host city of Albuquerque, New Mexico where he’s being paid millions of dollars to play grown-up Marvel comics with A-list cast & crew Chris played cut-up with MTV news spouting off about the drabs of the shooting locale.
Me thinks it’s the former that made this lucky actor sound off like this, esp. seeing as his screen idols and fellow Marvel heroes who’ve worked and played in the Land of Enchantment before haven’t been known to quip and complain about the state.

Like habitual New Mexico movie star Seth Rogen, his fellow funny men and gajillions of Hollywood celebs who take to the hills, whether it be for work or rec, RDJ was getting his hike on in Albuquerque TODAY!
No official word on what Iron Man is here for but gossip abounds that he may be set to shoot his scenes for a little film called THE AVENGERS, duh!
Star of many a scene in everything from Gamer to Terminator: Salvation; host to NM productions like Beyond the Blackboard, served as a backdrop for In Plain Sight, Breaking Bad and umpteen more Indie & Artsie films and photo shoots, the storied Albuquerque Rail Yards appear to be up for a role in the biggest movie in New Mexico history!
One of the most beloved and dear demographics on the planet (comic nerds) are all atwitter with these pictures via Superhero Hype said to be the set of an upcoming Avengers shoot.
No word or buzz yet whether or not my personal favorite architectural nay public works landmark will score a role in the film, but with its previous appearances as the Gates of Cyberdyne, etc., etc., I don’t know how it couldn’t be at least asked to audition!
Break a leg Rail Yards, but not Scarlett’s because no AVENGER is more coveted the world over!

Reports were flying this morn’ that a New Mexican or at least someone in Samuel L. Jackson’s beloved Nuevo Mexico had perpetrated a crime against all that is holy in the superhero world by HIGHjacking from Sam one of the most coveted scripts in comic movie history…
Like the much lored tale of the then latest version of the iPhone being planted stoopidly left behind in a coffee shop or brew haus…this here story is sure to be chalk full of twists and turns.
News ~broke last week that media outlets were being offered the buy. This weekend it has been confirmed that production of the blockbuster in the making is halted until further notice and sources tell Film Fan Review that the script indeed remains on the loose BUT WAS NOT STOLEN from New Mexico USA but rather lifted in either Burbank or Los Angeles California, UFO.
Mama smells stunt and/or rewrites from the production that is sure to yield many of both…in any case this should not go down in the annals of New Mexico Film history as a black eye on our great state…
Unless fiscal opportunist “Harry” Winston Brooks or NM Film seductress Saboteur Susana don’t each have a solid alibi….
UPDATE 5PM (MST): Several NM Set Insiders are stating to us that they have received no notification of a production breach or break and will be reporting to their jobs at next call.
