I don’t have to be gay to support basic and equal human rights, just as I don’t have to partake to know that medical marijuana is a politically vilified, holistic, medicinal alternative to the big money market of pharmaceuticals that can be a very real threat to overall health and well being.

Hint: When the list of side effects is longer than the list of benefits and includes DEATH and/or increased risk of suicide PAUSE, rewind, STOP!

As a chronic pain sufferer myself I’ve been legally prescribed some of the most sought after pain meds on the market – used ever so sparingly and now not at all (WARNING: NSAIDS are baby killers), the effects of America’s legal narcotics have hit home & heart far harder than naturally herbal remedies ever could (and that’s coming from a fatherless child whose dad was an abandoning, deadbeat and dope peddler – drug mule much).

I also don’t have to escape the throws of agoraphobia to know that an event of this kind generates tourism dollars for my beloved home state – GO NEW MEXICO!

Repost: Have You Reserved an Egg Today?

It looks like the national crusade for abstinence has a new face on the same old, young spokesperson. “Teen advocate” Bristol Palin showed off her new Kardash-like locks, framing a very different looking mug today on Good Morning America.

The abstinence preacher appears to have been Gretta Van Susterened – but unlike the adult news anchor who drew the YOWZAS from her audience and beyond when she got all life-style lift like, Palin may now also be seen as an advocate for major and pricey cosmetic makeovers if not full facial reconstruction for those just out of their teens.

And as I’ve regaled you with before, the highest U.S. birth rates are recorded in July and August translating to most impregnations occurring in and around November.

That is why today’s been officially designated (in my mind) as “Preserve an Egg Day”, it is this day in “Zip Your Pants and Close Your Legs” (ZPCL) MONTH that I invite you to talk with girls and women in your life to remind them of just how precious every one of their millions of ova really are.

With us since before our own birth and with us til death when brought forth as to become another human being. It’s your body, it’s your call – reserve that egg or step-up in a big, big way. You seminal carriers are invited and celebrated over these holidays too!

Please refrain from unleashing your insemination if you can’t make what springs forth as a result the center of your universe and/or if your ovarian target isn’t already the most important person in your life.

Lastly, you know those horrific news reports of what goes on in this world? From the disgruntling to the completely disturbing? Spare everyone some of that by preserving an egg today!

Gift of Healthcare Elicits Shortsightedness

Indiana chapters of Planned Parenthood are offering gift certificates for healthcare services at their clinics. Similar programs are or likely to become available in Illinois, New York, Alaska, and Michigan. Surely among it’s critics will be the Wolverine in Business Barbie clothing known as the governess of Alaska – who opposes sex-ed in her state.
Outraged groups ignore health service and education benefits citing ‘lethal’ treatment possibilities. Planned Parenthood president and CEO, Betty Cockrum asserts basic healthcare such as annual exams, including cancer screenings and contraception, are often put off in tough economic times such as these.
An ABC News.com commenter says, “Wal-Mart gift cards can be used to buy alcohol and ammunition … but nobody is outraged.” – Nuff said?

Portion control people…and by portion we don’t mean that heaping mound of stuffing but rather, stuffing that big fat foot in your mouth. I am most thankful for any and all forms of peace available to mankind – in that vein keep things cheery, don’t harbor or worse air ol’ family problems on this day. Enjoy your feast, enjoy your health and keep it happy. Trust us we know from experience. Lesson learned – I can say my mother’s ugly – but you can’t.
