UPDATE: Remiss be mine name! NM Production, LEMONADE MOUTH too makes its television debut on April 15! Check-out this far superior blog spot for all things Lemon-ade!

The online community, Social Moms is hosting a virtual viewing party of the made for TV, NM movie Truth be Told, starring Candace Camerone Bure and short lived NM series alum David James Elliot.

Proclaiming, “Family movie night is back!”, The Social Moms event description for the films premiere airing states:

Join us as we watch “Truth Be Told,” a new made-for-TV family movie, starring Candace Cameron Bure, David James Elliott and Ronny Cox premiering Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 8/7c on FOX. “Truth Be Told” is brought to you by Walmart and P&G as part of their effort to bring more high-quality entertainment to families.

The “Tweet-a-thon” and online viewing party will be Saturday April 16, 2011 from 8pm to 10pm as aired on nationwide FOX affiliates. Social Moms event attendees have a chance to win $50 Walmart gift cards (Procter & Gamble and Walmart are the film’s sponsors).

To participate “Tweet an invite to your followers to watch the movie using the #FamilyMovie hashtag or tweet during the movie with #FamilyMovie in your tweets and you’ll be entered to win.”

On a less rosey note, the verdict is in as TNT has passed on the TV series pilot based on the Marshall Karp novel, The Rabbit Factory. The pilot had filmed here last winter and featured Steven Weber, DL Hughley and plenty o’ New Mexicans.

But back to an upswing, another family friendly NM Production, the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie, Beyond the Blackboard WILL air on CBS, Sunday April 24.
See the trailer here. And YES! That’s ELLIOT from thirtysomething!!!

Unlike The History Channel’s multi-million dollar take on The Kennedys, which turns-out will never see the light of day outside of Canada

NM’s Own Lemonade Mouth now has a television debut date! See deets below and the NM film’s chronology here.

PRESS RELEASE:

“LEMONADE MOUTH,” A DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE,

SET TO PREMIERE FRIDAY, MARCH 25 ON DISNEY CHANNEL

– Soundtrack Debuts Tuesday, March 22 –

Themes of believing in yourself, following your dreams, celebrating family and staying true to yourself are explored in the triumphant, music-driven “Lemonade Mouth,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the book of the same name, set to premiere FRIDAY, MARCH 25 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The announcement was made today by Gary Marsh, president, Entertainment, and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide. The movie joins the powerhouse franchise that has delivered cable TV’s No. 1 original movie telecast in Total Viewers for the past four years and TV’s No. 1 original movie among Tweens 9-14 for the past nine years.

Geared towards kids, tweens and families, “Lemonade Mouth” tells the story of how a powerhouse band came to be after five uncelebrated students with a passion for music find each other and ultimately become the voice of their generation.

Directed by award winning film director Patricia Riggen (“La Misma Luna”) and executive-produced by Debra Martin Chase (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” Disney Channel’s “The Cheetah Girls” movies), the movie showcases a remarkably talented cast led by popular stars of Disney Channel hits: Bridgit Mendler (“Good Luck Charlie”) as lead vocalist Olivia White, Adam Hicks (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) as keyboardist Wen Giford, Hayley Kiyoko (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) as electric guitarist Stella Yamada, Naomi Scott (Disney Channel UK’s “Life Bites”) as bass guitarist Mohini, and newcomer Blake Michael (who landed the role via an open casting call) as percussionist Charlie Delgado. Also starring are Nick Roux (“The Suite Life on Deck”) as Scott Pickett, Chris Brochu (“Soul Surfer”) as Ray Beach, Tisha Campbell-Martin (“My Wife and Kids”) as music teacher Miss Reznick and Christopher McDonald (“Boardwalk Empire”) as Principal Brenigan.

Welcome Martin Enter Murphy

Posted by on July 30, 2010 | One comment

The beautiful and talented Tisha Campbell-Martin was recently spied arriving in the Q, landing on the same flight from CA as our own Lady Viking.

We’ve learned that TCM is here to star as Miss Reznick in the ongoing New Mexico shoot of Disney’s Lemonade Mouth AND NM’s Own very beautiful and talented SKM, the one and only Sandi K. Murphy will grace the set landing the plum spot as TCM’s stand-in, at least for today.

Stand-in work rocks! We love our Sandi and we’re so proud she’ll be rockin’ her professionalism and experience on set in this exciting new production!

Go Sandi! And welcome to the Land of Enchantment Mrs. Martin.
