Escándalo: Fiscal Fallout/Fifth & Final
Fiscal fallout at AMC has led to the fifth & final season pick-up of the Emmy winning New Mexico production Breaking Bad.
ICYDK: Meth making doesn’t exactly lend itself to mass market promotional product schemes the way a pricey presentation of the history of America’s oldest addiction (money grubbing), fueled by our other most long standing and ongoing addictions (the smoke, the drink and the sex) does.
The high price tag on particular productions seems to be taking a big, ugly bite out of projects left and right lately (corporate film making – it’s the new NFL LOCKOUT).
Becoming even more mainstream is the practice of industry professionals feeling and sounding-off about the pinch.

So alas NM is dealt a blow reaching the end of the road with finale seasons of both USA Network’s In Plain Sight and our intensely beloved Breaking Bad, which will conclude its acclaimed run with just 16 more episodes to shoot – shoring-up syndication rights of the series sure to garner even more bank for AMC.
