New Mexico and Louisiana to Share Wahlberg & Washington in “2 Guns”

Posted by on March 21, 2012 | 2 comments

CONFIRMED!

As I eventually eluded to here, buried far beneath my retro-New Mexico, non-”encounter” with Mark Wahlberg story…

I can now report that Washington and Wahlberg are officially ON for a June shoot between New Mexico and Louisiana for the Universal Pictures production of “2 Guns”.

The ACTION ADVENTURE flick tells the story of a DEA agent and an undercover Naval Intelligence officer who are unwittingly investigating each other and who steal mob money for the good guys. They realize later that the mob actually got them to steal $50 million from the CIA.

Fresh off Contraband, which also starred Wahlberg, Baltasar Kormakur is at the helm to direct. The script, based on the graphic novel Steven Grant, is penned by Blake Masters.

Local cast & crew info. to follow!!!
