So, if you like me are not much of a doer, this is a great opportunity to support those who do while helping to eradicate a mean disease that takes so much from those who so want to.
“I’m gonna hurt like a sonofab*tch tomorrow, but not nearly as bad as some of my friends who suffer from this disease do…” – Swami
It’s a can’t-miss-a-thon for the ages so get your tired butts down there to cheer theirs on 6 – 10 a.m. at Defined Fitness on Juan Tabo! Be a part of the team here.
The National MS Society is currently ramping-up their PEDAL LOS PUEBLOS 2011 in Northern New Mexico find out more and join the crusade here.
From the team:
Help Our Team Move Toward a World Without MS!
Multiple sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease that affects people in many different ways. It could be paralysis one day, loss of vision the next or impaired memory the day after that. Living with MS means living with uncertainty.
When it comes to MS, only two things are certain:
· Another American is newly diagnosed every hour of every day.
· Many people are joining the movement toward a world free of MS including me.
Why We’re Biking
We’ve registered for the Bike MS: Pedal los Pueblos 2011 because we want to experience a great, organized ride, and to help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS and their families lead powerful lives. We believe in the work they do and want to be part of it.
When a true media icon, inspiration to millions, purveyor of empowerment and community enrichment steps down the nation nay the world takes pause.
On the other hand when New Mexico’s Own perv-ayor of irreverence reaches the unprecedented milestone of hosting NM mornings for 25 years, a break of dawn par-tay is in order.
TJ Trout, smack talker for the ages, verbally armpit farts all over New Mexico and beyond where airwaves of his snarkiess have been widely accepted even highly anticipated by thousands and thousands of his loyal fans lo these many years.
Like in Oprah’s world some players have changed, some bridges burned and some controversy arisen but such is the life of a media mogul. By his side to this day TJ’s KZRR cohorts are bringing it like it’s 1986 or whenever you were a 12 year-old raunchy rocker, fresh of face, clean of heart, dirty of palm.
So this Friday party like it’s 1986 (or whenever it was you last got your early morning party-on), in honor of the ornery Deejay.
RSVP for the KZRR Morning Show Anniversary Party here and get all the deets on TJ Trout’s VIP dinner here.
Party on, Trout!
