Lee Daniels who made a largely unsung impact with his 2008 production of the New Mexico/TN drama Tennessee, brings his developing directorial chops and the return of Mariah in a successfully serious role to the Oscar buzzing film Precious.
A Single Man, in limited release Dec. 11, is the directorial debut of Tom Ford, whom since heading the Gucci empire based in New York for over a decade, has returned to his childhood roots in New Mexico. The designer turned director is racking up positive reviews and high hopes for this and future films he may add to his collection.
