An unprecedented celebration of Black History month here in New Mexico, OPEN TO ALL.

The New Mexico Black History Month Organizing Committee’s mission is to preserve the rich cultural heritage that African Americans have contributed to the state of New Mexico and the United States. Their annual slate of events cover five focus areas: Arts and Culture, Cuisine, Education, Positive Youth Development and Health. There is something for everyone…

The New Mexico Black History Month Festival is an opportunity to build and strengthen our community from the inside out. African Americans have made important contributions to the state and we believe those contributions are worthy of celebration and recognition.
