Art of Life
In 2009 we brought you a glimpse into the life of an artist.
“Gianni [Lopergolo] joined the Hasbro family in 2002 and completely reinvented the way product photography was done for the toy company. With over a thousand original photographs spanning his impressive Hasbro career…” – Hasbro
Sadly Gianni passed away last night in Rhode Island, where he lived with his wife and three children.
Today we can all have a part of his passion which is preserved in his book, insight: Photography and Dioramas by Gianni Lopergolo.
Gianni’s book is published and available through Hasbro. Proceeeds benefit the National ALS Association and the Gianni Lopergolo Foundation, a private fund established for his three young sons.

Now available from Hasbro, insight – a collection of visual art photography by Hasbro Professional Photographer and Artist Gianni Lopergolo.
A devoted family man as well as a “trail-blazing” photographer, Gianni is now unable to work due to the effects of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) which he has been living with for over three years. Hasbro and a team of its producers and writers are proud to offer this compilation of over 100 photo images from within Hasbro’s own creative studios to showcase Mr. Lopergolo’s unique vision and stunning artistry, while raising awareness and funds for Gianni, his family and others suffering from this crippling disease.
Please visit Hasbrotoyshop.com to purchase this one of a kind action figure collectible – which includes images of iconic characters such as “DUKE, BARONESS and COBRA COMMANDER from Hasbro’s G.I.
