Industry Refresher: New Mexico is currently ranked #3 in all of N. America by Variety Magazine and #1 in the country for production by Movie Maker magazine.

New reports show that 43 states have created film tax credits and CT and Iowa to name a few have made unsuccessful runs at nabbing our coveted film & production industry. We still face stiff competition from TX and Louisiana + who are looking to bolster or add their own incentives…

Let’s make sure New Mexico continues to put the NM in entertainment, let’s keep informed, get involved and do check-our post on the dried-up Iowa Film Industry that boomed for the two years it was in effect and is now defunct…we may get us some Hawkeyes as a result which is welcome but we gotta keep vigilant on the tremendous strides NM has made in American and even Global production & entertainment.
FOR JOBS SAKE, go New Mexico!
