Keepin’ it Latino’ish, razztacular and New Mexican!

Thanks to Jessica Miser-Alba and George Lopez for keeping NM and proud Latinos everywhere in the swing of Awards Season with their multiple Razzie Award noms for sour performances in two New Mexico movies.

Jessie was nominated three times over, including a nod for Worst Supporting Actress in the NM Film, The Killer Inside Me.

Jorge too nabbed several noms (one for voice acting – ouch), including Worst Supporting Actor for NM Film, The Spy Next Door! Woot!

See the entire list of dubious nominations here presented by the greatest, unsung, poetic mind of our time…

Brother Affleck, boho chic Alba and newly curvy Kate premiere their raunchy New Mexico film The Killer Inside Me at the NYC Tribeca Film Festival.

The ladies held down more than the red carpet while meeting the press before the on screen show, as the wind was so bold as to sweep up Kate’s hem.

Simon Baker

As we told you here the upcoming Western, Drama, Thriller, The Killer Inside Me is already in production in Fanta-Se, NM.

Joining the cast of mugs below is Aussie stud Simon Baker of the People’s Choice Award winning CBS Drama The Mentalist.

Don’t forget to roll-out the Land of Enchantment hospitality wagon to the cast and crew of all the films bringing their entertainment dollars to Hollywood, NM. And don’t forget how Alba trash-talked us last time she was here.

When is this woman gonna play herself in a major motion picture? Calling current NM productions, Book of Eli, Did You Hear About the Morgans?, The Killer Inside Me, Invasion of Privacy, and Broken Horses. Terminator and Transformers may have already wrapped but they can put her in post-production à la J. Jojola.

Seriously, we love this chick and not just because she’s talked about us…but because she is one of the least annoying (and I’m annoyed by everything), best delivering, most consistent faces on the NM airwaves. AND she’s big screen ready. Homegirl looks great in HD! Only a handful of her peers are well surviving the HD conversion, much less thriving in it.

We may want to keep her out of NM film if we want to retain ‘er ’cause after one flick she just might move beyond us…Regis & Jess maybe. We don’t get to see heaping doses of her funny bone on her newscasts, but it twinkles in her shiny ojos caliente regularly. Besides I think the sun has set on Kelly’s time in the spotlight. She’s puttering out into more of an impersonator than a personality. Anyway when Kells takes her millions and her dehydrated chicken bones and retires I think our Jess can fill the seat a-fresh.

KRQE

No, those are not mugshots of the stars above. As reported by KRQE news these three stars will soon be shooting their new thriller “The Killer Inside Me” in Santa Fe, expected to bring more film crew jobs and buzz about town.

Kate Hudson seems like she can peyote out in NM, Affleck is a pretty chill dude and more than a decent actor to boot…but this Alba chick can stand to take our boot heel and shove it.

The threesome are due to film in the City Different next month. Hopefully the air up-there will improve “MiserAlba‘s” craptacular acting or at least garner Santa Fe a better review than the one the shiteous actress gave Albuquerque one year ago.

“In Albuquerque there’s really only one restaurant that’s pretty good. You can only take Applebee’s and Chili’s so much. Our big day was hanging out at Wal-Mart for five hours. It was like, ‘Yea Wal-Mart!’”

-Alba on filming Razzie Award winner “The Eye” in New Mexico

Whether she was mistaking Alamagordo for Albuquerque as she did recently Sweden for Switzerland remains unknown.
